Follow www.linkedin.com/company/lazada for the latest news and career opportunities. Reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining the company accounting system, the integrity, the timeliness and accuracy of financial and management reporting prepared in compliance with local Vietnamese accounting standards (VAS) and tax reporting. Maintain general ledgers relating to accounting and finance.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the finance and accounting function within the company, ensure monthly financial statements are prepared accurately and in a timely manner.
- Do budget variance analysis on budget vs actual. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in Vietnam with respect to taxation.
- Implement proper credit management procedures to ensure accounts receivables are well managed.
- Manage cash flow, prepare monthly cash planning and credit facility utilization. Prepare the monthly reconciliation.
- Coordinate with bankers for payment /transfer arrangement.
- Ad-hoc accounting assignments.
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have:
- Degree in Finance and Accounting, ACCA students are preferred.
- Five or more years of experience as Accounting Manager, Management Accountant.
- Knowledge and experience in IFRS and VAS reporting, tax reporting as well as tax finalization, CIT reporting as well as CIT finalization.
- Experience in distribution or retailing not a must but an advantage.
- Experience in implementing accounting software or ERP.
- Good at Excel, Word and presentation. Fluency in both English and Vietnamese.
