OUTSOURCING SERVICES – TAX ASSOCIATE (HCMC OFFICE)
Job Description
Markets
- Prepares pitch documents for presentation to financiers and other professionals
- Develops an internal network within the outsourcing department.
Quality and Clients
- Builds good rapport with the client, with a clear understanding of client expectations and achieving high levels of client service
- Provides general support to clients in the provision of tax advice
- Regularly attends meetings, when appropriate, answering client queries
- Takes minutes and proactively encourages the Partner/ Manager to follow up on agreed actions.
Tax Delivery
- produces a well supported piece of technical research
- produces client reports for Manager review
- uses and understands legislation appropriately to aid in relevant area of work
- provides general support to clients in the provision of tax advice
- assists in the preparation of tax returns and computations in conjunction with agreed timescales
- supports Executives and Managers on advertising hoc projects
- assists with the production of tax reports.
Client take-on/ risk management
- be aware of the firm’s risk management procedure and adheres to this
- mitigates risks by involvement of senior people and ensures appropriate advice is sought
- builds an understanding of professional standards, ethics and risk management protocols.
Technical competence
- retains sufficient technical knowledge to undertake relevant area of work
- produces well supported pieces of technical research
- develops an understanding of the commercial impact of tax.
People
- Being approachable and respected member of the team who takes a proactive interest in the team’s performance and well-being.
Operations and results
- Monitors own time incurred and undertakes analysis as directed
- Meets own financial targets set.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in tax functions of accountancy firms
- Fluent in English, both oral and written
- Experience in using software for tax declaration is an advantage
- Competence in using Microsoft offices

OUTSOURCING SERVICES – SENIOR (HCMC OFFICE)
Job Description
Markets
- identifies where relevant knowledge and expertise sits within the firm
- develops and maintains contacts in the business community
- maintains and grows network of contacts elsewhere in the firm in order to share relevant knowledge and information and prevent duplication of effort
- proactively identifies clients’ needs that can be satisfied from the firm’s services and informs the Manager/ Partner
- be involved in office marketing events and is an ‘ambassador’ of the firm.
Quality and Clients
- understands client business, ask insightful questions
- leads assignments, including preparation of financial statements, payroll, tax returns and ad-hoc reports when appropriate
- reviews work prepared by junior staff when appropriate
- be able to answer day to day queries from clients with consultation from Managers and Partners
- be able to inform clients of new standards that will affect their business
- develops a good working relationships with client staff with whom you will have most contact
- adheres to the firm’s risk management policies and procedures, consulting with colleagues as necessary
- liaises with other departments in the office, e.g. tax to ensure that jobs run efficiently and that client service is maintained.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in accounting services of accountancy firms
- Strong knowledge in Accounting Law, Vietnamese Accounting Standards
- Good knowledge in Value Added Tax, Personal Income Tax and Corporate Income Tax
- Experience in using accounting software
- Fluency in English
- Experience in using software for tax declaration is an advantage
- Competence in using Microsoft offices
