Being the representative of HOK Vietnam, responsible for all accounting (AR AR, AP, GL, tax compliance and legal/license updates (if any)) and finance functions in the company. You will handle the financial management required to assist in growing the organization and assure financial stability.
DESCRIPTION
Maintaining accounting systems and records; enforcing policies and procedures; and ensuring compliance with the company’s accounting standards and internal control requirements.
1. General Accounting:
- Preparing monthly financial statements and other financial reports.
- Supervising end-of-period processes and supporting the analysis of the periodical business performance, budgets.
- Recommending initiates on the business’s financial approaches from an accounting, taxation and finance perspective.
- Liaising with internal & external auditors for yearly auditing.
- Managing daily operations of the accounting team.
- Preparing and monitoring monthly/ quarterly/ yearly business’s budget.
- Being responsible for building talent and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance Dept.
2. Accounts Payable / Receivable, Expense Administration, Assets Monitoring:
- Ensuring the AP/ AR, Expense, Asset ledgers are completely and accurately maintained.
- Ensuring vendor payments and employee reimbursements are issued in accordance with internal and external policies and procedures in a timely manner.
- Supporting budgeting, planning tasks, and other ad-hoc projects.
- Coordinating all tax preparation and declaration work.
- Overseeing full-set of accounting records, and being responsible for all operating and office payments, cash flow management and cash flow forecasts.
- Inputting all the transactions, transactions arising into accounting systems.
- Working closely with other departments to improve business procedures.
- Policy, Process and Internal Controls.
- Reviewing and maintaining all accounting and operational control policies.
- Ensuring adequacy of segregation of duties and controls in the accounting functions.
- Developing and implementing recommendations for internal control efficiency and improvement across the department.
- Making monthly/ quarterly/ annual tax reports, submitting reports to the government.
- Dealing with Tax Department, Statistic Department, Banks, Auditing Company.
- Monthly reviewing expenses report and purchasing contracts to control cost.
- Preparing monthly and annual reports under VAS and IFRS.
- Assist with plans and reports for fundraising and growth.
- Regular financial management report and analysis required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- At least 2 years experience as General Accountant at FDI, multinational companies.
- Knowledge and proficiency in market practices in Blockchain/ NFTs/ Metaverse or similar/ related industries.
- Strategy: Strong analytical, researching the market, analyzing market data based on current reports/data, providing accurate insights about the market.
- Cultural diversity: Understanding cultural aspects and being able to adapt/ articulate across cultures.
- Communication: Excellent communications (bring solutions, drive change, motivate & inspire).
- Language: Strong English skills (to report to HQ in Canada).
- Project management: Good knowledge in VAS and IAS/IFRS, in all related accounting works;
- Administration: Experience in supporting Expat documents/procedures.
- Team building: team spirit, positive energy & enjoy collaboration.
- Soft skills: Ability to work with tight deadlines, Eager to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Other office skills (fluent in office information, …) according to office standards.
