Position Objectives

Investment Department is accountable for financial market research and survey; Managing capital and assets of clients through effective asset management to increase the value of customers’ assets; Select suitable investment deals, asset allocation, analyze and monitor portfolios, evaluating the investment effectiveness in line with their investment criteria and risk appetite in order to optimize return while minimize risk; Building and ensuring the investment database as well as investment operation activities to serve investment activities; Coordinating with relevant departments to monitor investment activities in accordance with the Company charter, investment management contract, fund charter and current legal regulations.

This role will Implement effective investment management and efficient implementation, ensure accurate and timely reporting and analysis and demonstrate proactive and due care involvement in every assigned investment implementation activity.

Responsibilities

• Market research and Investment analysis
  • Monitor investment instruments related to fixed income securities, including (but not limited to) government bonds, corporate bonds, certificates of deposit and products on the monetary market
  • Research for fixed income stock markets, update market fluctuations, deliver daily market newsletter and prepare related reports.
  • Monitor trends of the industry and competitors to have prompt relevant action plan.
  • Research and propose investment deals for line manager review and approval.
  • Assist the manager in research and build the equity investment framework to prepare for the equity investment competence in the future.

• Investment reporting and information disclosure
  • Deliver regular investment reports to update management and relevant stakeholders on the investment portfolio performance, compliance status and market conditions.
  • Study and understand the regulatory requirements and company procedures for smooth investment implementation.
  • Ensure proper and timely update/improvement on the process in compliance with regulatory requirements and with more efficiency, especially on the Fund Admin system.

• Other as required by management
  • Take part in new projects/ initiatives, assist the new product development, deliver professional training for non-finance stakeholders, etc.
  • Other tasks where required.
